Game servers live and die by clock speed. Every tick, physics, AI, player movement, world updates has to finish on a single core before the next one starts. Miss that window and players feel it as lag, rubber-banding and stutter, no matter how many cores the machine has.

Why 3D V-Cache matters: simulation-heavy games - Minecraft, Valheim, Rust, ARK - spend most of their tick chasing scattered chunks of world state through memory. AMD's 3D V-Cache stacks a huge pool of L3 directly on top of the cores, so far more of that world data stays on the chip instead of making the slow trip out to RAM. More ticks land on time, and the difference shows up exactly where it hurts most: big bases, dense builds and full servers.
